One Step Back

Taking a step back or considering what is done and gone is not always a bad thing. It's a reminder of how far you have come, what you've learned and helps you refocus on where you are headed. I've had to do this over and over with Johnny Green and the Little Green Man and now that I'm becoming comfortable with how many steps back I've had to take, the light at the end of the tunnel is finally closer then ever! What a relief to be on the home stretch. I recently told my daughter that the road in life is long, but it's what you make of the journey that is important. Ha! I think this was really meant for me - I've been considering it much more probably than she has. Over and over, I've posted on this Blog that it's almost done (Johnny Green), almost done and now I'm done with that. It'll be done when it's done and to my satisfaction this time around. It's been a wild road...looking back I've learned so much about self-publishing a book. Going forward I will consider where I've been and focus on. My thoughts now are consumed with where I've dare not to go until now and that is marketing my book, both locally and nationally. It's a great feeling of accomplishment to get to this next step! Several steps back and one step at a time going forward! P.S. Become a fan of Johnny Green!
